Our wellness is the sum of each moving part within us, and its about the synergistic relationship between them. It is about balancing our life's purpose, work, and our emotional health, especially as a quintessential nurturer/massage therapist. To remain in equilibrium, homeostasis, HEALTH…OPTIMAL and high octane, one must give and receive in equal manner. Ways I do this is a scheduled weekly massage for my body tune up and health. I have created a morning ritual, which includes time for myself, to meditate, walk, pilates, stretch, drink smoothie and hot lemon water, practice positive affirmations, set goals for that day, pray, read inspirational quotes, listen to music, dance or sing if I feel inspired, give thanks, and do a little reading. I literally put myself on my own calendar for self care. I hope to inspire you to do the same for yourself too!Lets all be high vibrational humans. I schedule my weekly massages. I schedule my pilates a month in advance. I set my alarm clock for the same time everyday. I go to sleep around the same time each night. These systems create safety, security and a rhythm the body can calm too. no fight or flight. Just steady, peaceful, full of joy. Gradually block off time for a movie, a hike, and mostly, weekly pampering to rejuvenate as often as I can. I think of restoring, recharging my battery. YOu can't help others if you are tired, giving all of yourself away… You must relax and give back to you. Set aside one full day of rest per week. SCHEDULE it. Lastly, stay connected to who you are, and why you are here. For me its helping others, serving to heal body, mind and energy, thru amazing bodywork sessions. YOU can: Create a vision board…manifest your reality, and the Share your gift, heal other human beings. In loving me, I love you. XOXO, Meta-Maria!
Negative Pressure/Reverse Pressure = CUPPING! Variety of types of cupping: Silicon, plastic, fire, facial, & cellulite cupping. I like to go to cupping tools when I see a client with their facia restricted, scar tissue built up, and/or adhesions formed. I have had good results with a shoulder that couldn't handle pressure, but responded well to the cups to the point of increased range of motion and decreased pain reported by the client. I have had great results with the Sciatic Nerve impingement, by lifting and opening up nerve endings/pathways. Great results with the release of trigger points! Overall cupping is a great way to separate tissues, then rehydrates the tissues, so they are more pliable. Schedule today and see why! With Love, Meta-Maria!
