Cupping: A little more about the markings.

Cupping therapy is where I am finding this beautiful emergence of bodywork to a more compete state. Where before I was pushing, fingers, elbow deep into the tissue, to meet nervous system at comfort, while going into deeper tissues to break up soft tissues. For bodywork, involving both client and practitioner this cupping modality helps pull out what may have not wanted to push thru. This being experienced first hand, I can see a heightened speedy recovery if the client takes care of themselves following the treatments. Meaning hydrate, maybe ice, Espom salt soak, keeping warm, and get a good nights sleep. Stretching is vital. From the moment you get off the table, continue to open your body, keeping full range of motion. This is a daily practice. The marks can freak some people out, visually. As a practitioner I am interpreting the results. after removing the cups, you can discern the clients condition. If appear most, that is "damp" or yang deficient. If the skin marking is colored dark red or purple or blackish, or filled with spotted bruises, and or warm to the touch, that is considered "Overheated" and yang excessive. If the skin markings are dark red or purple but no spots or not warm tot the touch, the clients internal condition has stagnated blood. If the skin markings have no change to cold or touch the client is yang deficient. If the client is itchy or wrinkled, the clients internal condition is cold and gaseous. The cupping is an invaluable tool for massage and bodywork. It is about creating balance, or homeostasis in the body. Healing. Start today with bodywork on a regular schedule. As humans, body loves routine. I recommend weekly or every other week. Stay on a routine schedule, your body will really appreciate it, and won't shout with loud pains. Everything will be maintained. Try cupping, gorgeous when Eastern and Western modalities blend in wisdoms for healing! Cupping Takes Massage Treatments To New Levels

Negative Pressure/Reverse Pressure = CUPPING! Variety of types of cupping: Silicon, plastic, fire, facial, & cellulite cupping. I like to go to cupping tools when I see a client with their facia restricted, scar tissue built up, and/or adhesions formed. I have had good results with a shoulder that couldn't handle pressure, but responded well to the cups to the point of increased range of motion and decreased pain reported by the client. I have had great results with the Sciatic Nerve impingement, by lifting and opening up nerve endings/pathways. Great results with the release of trigger points! Overall cupping is a great way to separate tissues, then rehydrates the tissues, so they are more pliable. Schedule today and see why! With Love, Meta-Maria!
